About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Clinical Pharmacist to serve as the clinical and operational backbone of our 503A compounding pharmacy. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role that bridges clinical expertise, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and day-to-day operational leadership. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable reviewing clinical guidelines, writing SOPs, coordinating with engineering teams, and managing escalated patient cases — all within the fast-paced environment of a 503A pharmacy.

This role reports to the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC).

You Will:
  • Review and implement clinical guideline updates
  • Conduct Pharmacy Information Booklet and Medication guide review for all dispensed products
  • Perform clinical reviews arising from Medication Errors and identified issues (e.g., med kit analysis, intake form logic errors, inappropriate patient targeting)
  • Support pharmacy literature reviews and stay current on applicable state and federal pharmacy law
  • Obtain state licenses
  • Prepare the pharmacy team for new product launches, including guideline changes, Rx/label/packaging expectations, and staff education
  • Partner with the fulfillment team to align on collateral requirements and pack-out expectations
  • Ensure product pack-out validation and fit tests prior to launch
  • Coordinate with IT on improvements including prescription label changes, product name reviews, and sig reviews
  • Lead the CQI program: audit, analyze, and trend pharmacy error and near-miss data
  • Facilitate monthly CQI meetings with pharmacist and technician teams; present findings at quarterly leadership meetings
  • Drive follow-up and implementation of CQI initiatives and process improvement projects
  • Maintain the AZ facility call log and ensure timely resolution and documentation
  • Manage test orders and test labels to validate system changes
  • Author, review, and update pharmacy SOPs
  • Guide the pharmacy team on protocols during technology failures or system downtime
  • Serve as the primary clinical liaison between pharmacy and teams including inventory, fulfillment, care operations, learning & development, and engineering
  • Receive and review provider communications; distill and disperse relevant clinical guidance, updates, and directives to the pharmacy team in a timely and structured manner
  • Handle escalated patient communications from CX, including shipping errors and clinical concerns
  • Act as the primary clinical resource for staff pharmacists and technicians
  • Prepare slide decks, Google Docs, and Sheets for clinical meetings and patient profile reviews
You Have:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited program
  • Active, unrestricted Registered Pharmacist (RPh) license in Arizona
  • 2+ years of post-licensure pharmacy experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior clinical capacity
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills; comfortable working with engineering, operations, and clinical teams
  • Willingness to obtain non-resident pharmacist licenses and serve as back up PIC when needed
Our Benefits (there are more but here are some highlights):
  • Competitive salary & equity compensation for full-time roles
  • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental & vision, and parental leave
  • Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP)
  • Employee discounts on hims & hers online products
  • 401k benefits with employer matching contribution

We are committed to building a workforce that reflects diverse perspectives and prioritizes ethics, wellness, and a strong sense of belonging. If you're excited about this role, we encourage you to apply—even if you're not sure if your background or experience is a perfect match.
