Job description

You are strategic, resilient, and engaging with people. You are a natural self-starter and an inspiring leader with a passion for solving complex problems, and you bring a consultative mindset paired with a sharp understanding of the technology driving today's business world. If this sounds like you, this could be the perfect opportunity to join EPAM in Account Management, owning and growing a portfolio of enterprise clients across Southern California and selling EPAM's integrated product engineering, design, and consulting services.

As a Client Partner , you will act as the primary portfolio owner for your accounts, partnering with EPAM Account Managers, Functional Experts, Delivery Managers, and Delivery Teams to help clients achieve their goals. You will create and oversee account strategy, architect engagement approaches, build lasting executive relationships, and drive business results - with a strong local presence across the LA, Orange County, and San Diego markets.

Req#1054531375

Responsibilities

  • Own a portfolio of enterprise accounts targeting $10M+ in annual revenue, anchored by at least one account with $10M+ standalone potential, with a growth path toward $15M+ over time

  • Act as the Client Partner with clients, internal teams, and BU Heads/Sales Leads, owning a single account or small portfolio

  • Align with EPAM Account Managers and Account Management Senior Leadership to co-develop account plans and strategies for delivery, growth, and client satisfaction

  • Serve as engagement owner, working directly with client business and IT teams to position the engagement and EPAM for success

  • Drive both organic account growth and new business development - proactively hunting new logos, not solely farming existing relationships

  • Lead an integrated, multi-service delivery model across accounts, owning the full P&L and all financial and contractual aspects of engagements

  • Shape solutions, scope and price engagements, establish optimal operating models, and lead the transition from sales to delivery

  • Build and sustain senior client relationships through consistent local presence - in-person meetings, client lunches/dinners, and ongoing relationship cultivation across SoCal metro areas

  • Support sales and pre-sales activity: assess opportunities, respond to RFPs, build proposals and presentations, and help close new deals

  • Stay current on trends, opportunities, and challenges across your industries and geography, and how they affect clients' business and initiatives

Requirements

  • 5-10 years demonstrated success developing and growing client relationships and leading teams delivering end-to-end solutions, including 5+ years in P&L, sales, and account management roles

  • A proven track record of active account management - not just relationship maintenance - including P&L ownership and multi-service delivery

  • Demonstrated new-business development experience: winning new logos in addition to growing existing accounts

  • Established industry knowledge and relationships in one or more of: Energy & Utilities, Retail/Consumer, Healthcare & Life Sciences, or Technology (Media & Entertainment is covered by a separate team and is not a focus of this role)

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with executive presence and strong presentation ability

  • Ability to operate at the strategic level while staying close enough to the details to add real value to clients and teams

  • Track record of leading teams and contributing to cross-functional delivery

  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, with sound business acumen

  • Experience managing and monitoring performance metrics across accounts and portfolios

  • Bachelor's degree or higher; MBA preferred, engineering foundation a plus

  • Willingness to travel as needed, up to 25%

  • Must currently reside in Southern California (LA County, Orange County, or San Diego), with an established local presence and network

We offer

  • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance (Subsidized)

  • Health Savings Account

  • Flexible Spending Accounts (Healthcare, Dependent Care, Commuter)

  • Short-Term and Long-Term Disability (Company Provided)

  • Life and AD&D Insurance (Company Provided)

  • Employee Assistance Program

  • Unlimited access to LinkedIn learning solutions

  • Matched 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan

  • Paid Time Off - the employee will be eligible to accrue 15-25 paid days, depending on specific level and tenure with EPAM (accrual eligibility may change over time)

  • Paid Holidays - nine (9) total per year

  • Legal Plan and Identity Theft Protection

  • Accident Insurance

  • Employee Discounts

  • Pet Insurance

  • Employee Stock Purchase Program

  • If otherwise eligible, participation in the discretionary annual bonus program

  • If otherwise eligible and hired into a qualifying level, participation in the discretionary Long-Term Incentive (LTI) Program

This Remote Position Cannot be Performed in New York City.
