Job description

Site Lead - Project Management Consultant
About the Role
This is a full-time, in-person position; on-site, hybrid, or work-from-home arrangements are not available. The role requires a high degree of flexibility, with frequent off-hours and weekend work depending on project schedules, and up to 50% travel between client sites.
As the Site Lead, you will provide leadership and oversight for CBRE's Project Management team supporting a prestigious RTX account. In addition to delivering end-to-end project management services, you will directly manage a team of 2-3 Project Managers and serve as the primary CBRE project management representative across both locations.
The first site includes four buildings, one of which houses the RTX Senior Leadership Team. Projects at this location are highly visible, fast-paced, and often operate under demanding schedules requiring exceptional responsiveness and execution.
The second site includes a Collins Aerospace manufacturing and testing facility where projects support critical operational, production, and facility objectives.
As a CBRE Project Management Consultant and Site Lead, you will partner directly with senior client leadership, facilities teams, engineers, manufacturing stakeholders, and construction partners to successfully deliver projects that support strategic business goals. Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-management skills are essential, as you must be comfortable engaging with executive leaders one moment and field construction teams the next.
This position is part of CBRE's Project Management function and is responsible for leading teams and managing projects from initiation through completion while ensuring scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality objectives are achieved.
If you thrive in complex environments, enjoy bringing structure to ambiguity, and are motivated by high visibility and immediate impact, this role offers a unique opportunity to lead people, drive results, and influence critical business outcomes.
What You'll Do
Site Leadership
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of 2-3 Project Managers supporting multiple client locations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between CBRE and client leadership for project management services.
  • Balance workloads, assign resources, and ensure consistent project delivery standards across sites.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop project management team members to enhance performance, growth, and engagement.
  • Promote compliance with CBRE and client project management processes, standards, and governance requirements.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE's RISE values.
Project Management
  • Lead all aspects of project management for multiple concurrent capital, infrastructure, renovation, and facility projects.
  • Manage projects through planning, design, procurement, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, resource plans, risk assessments, and communication plans.
  • Partner with clients and stakeholders to define project objectives and ensure alignment with business priorities.
  • Conduct Requests for Proposal (RFPs), bid evaluations, contractor selections, and procurement activities.
  • Monitor project performance, financials, schedules, and risks while ensuring timely issue resolution.
  • Facilitate regular project review meetings and provide executive-level reporting to client leadership.
  • Ensure project documentation, reporting, and record retention comply with client and CBRE requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance project delivery processes.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build trusted relationships with senior executive leaders, manufacturing leadership, facilities teams, and support organizations.
  • Communicate complex project information clearly and effectively to audiences at all organizational levels.
  • Influence decision-making and gain alignment among stakeholders with competing priorities.
  • Support strategic planning efforts and help clients develop long-range capital investment strategies.

What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 8-10 years of relevant project management experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Previous leadership experience managing or mentoring project managers, project engineers, or project teams.
  • Experience managing construction, facility, capital improvement, or manufacturing-related projects.
  • Strong financial management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with senior executives, manufacturing leadership, construction teams, and external partners.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • PMP, CCM, LEED AP, or related professional certifications preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, critical thinking abilities, and a proactive, customer-focused mindset.
  • Willingness to travel up to 35% between supported locations and work outside normal business hours when required.
