A day in the life:


As a Senior Media Manager, you’ll partner closely with your Media Supervisor to shape strategy and planning, while confidently leading client conversations, reinforcing strategic direction, and identifying testing or growth opportunities. You’ll support the Associate Media Director across key areas of media planning and own the daily management of campaigns, understanding performance drivers, optimizing with intent, and turning data into clear, actionable recommendations. You’ll collaborate with the creative team to develop new assets, messaging, and design concepts that elevate performance. With strong experience in Paid Search and a solid foundation in paid social and display, you’ll bring multi-channel expertise to the table and apply best practices across every channel you touch. This is a client-facing role, and your ability to guide, educate, and drive results will define your impact.


Responsibilities:



  • Successful end-to-end management of designated paid media accounts

  • Meet pacing and KPI requirements for held accounts

  • Own all Paid Search strategy, project ideation, road mapping, & testing, leading the team with confidence and direction

  • Work with Account Managers and the Media Supervisor to identify client goals, priorities and efficiency requirements.

  • Actively works to increase billing for existing accounts and propose opportunities to expand media coverage for new accounts

  • Continually work to learn new strategies, test new platforms, and expand Cardinal’s Paid Media offerings

  • Function as primary point of contact both internally and externally for all ‘owned’accounts – responsible for pacing and performance of accounts

  • Responsible for generating reporting, writing insights, and communicating with the client for designated accounts

  • Responsible for the ongoing maintenance of held accounts including but not limited to optimizations, structural updates, bidding methodologies, conversion types and copyrevisions

  • Responsible for strategic ideation on all accounts, designing and adjusting campaign strategies to meet each client’s business goals (and internal objectives)

  • Responsible for designing and deploying tests in accounts on a monthly and quarterly cadence (structural, targeting, creative & messaging, conversion, etc.)

  • Responsible for continual testing, verification, and improvement of full-funnel structures


Role Requirements:



  • 4-5+ years of experience, primarily in Paid Search

  • Ideal candidates also have experience in Paid Social, Programmatic, or both

  • Required platform expertise: Google Ads

  • Suggested additional platform familiarity: Bing, Meta, a DSP platform

  • Experience managing paid media budget ranges above 100k per month

  • Experience driving paid media strategy and testing

  • Confident ability to communicate with and convince clients

  • Great at reporting and insights, and great at identifying and optimizing towards client business goals

  • Experience in full project ownership, from the first step of writing strategy briefs and recommendations, all the way to deploying campaigns/tests in-platform and reporting on results

  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace

  • Ability to interface with both internal team members and clients

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
