Senior Claims Advocate
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Claims Advocate to provide strategic claims support and advocacy for a clients. This role focuses on managing complex claims, improving claims performance, and delivering actionable insights to clients. As a key advisor, you will lead client-facing claims reviews, influence carrier decisions, and drive optimal claims outcomes.
Compensation Package
We offer a competitive compensation package that reflects your skills, experience, and expertise. The annual salary range for this position is $87,550.00 - $124,755.00 USD, commensurate with job-related qualifications and geographic location. This range includes base pay earnings. Responsibilities
As a Senior Claims Advocate, your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Overseeing the strategy and resolution of complex, high-exposure, and multi-line claims to align with client financial and risk management objectives.
  • Serving as the primary advocate for clients with carriers, influencing reserves, coverage positions, and claim outcomes.
  • Directing claim strategy and engagement with adjusters to ensure timely and effective claim progression.
  • Identifying opportunities to reduce total cost of risk through strategic claim oversight and early intervention.
  • Leading the development and delivery of quarterly claims reviews, including advanced trend analysis and actionable insights.
  • Presenting claims reviews to clients, providing clear recommendations to improve outcomes and inform risk management decisions.
  • Managing and resolving complex or escalated claim issues, serving as a senior escalation point for clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with carrier leadership, legal partners, and internal teams to resolve challenging claims.
  • Mentoring and developing Claims Advocates, providing technical guidance and oversight of claim strategies.
Qualifications/Requirements
Required Education & Experience:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial insurance claims or claims advocacy.
  • Strong understanding of claims handling, reserving, and coverage.
Preferred Education & Experience:
  • Advanced designations such as AIC, SCLA, CPCU, ARM, or equivalent.
  • Experience managing large and complex commercial claims.
Planning/Organizing/Managerial Knowledge:
  • Proven ability to manage complex workloads and integrate claims strategy with client risk profiles and renewal impacts.
Communicating & Influencing Skills:
  • Strong leadership in client discussions and presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence carrier decisions on reserves, settlements, and claim handling strategies.
