essential functions:

  1. Manages a high volume of incoming calls in a timely, professional manner using the patient first ethic.
  2. Screens calls appropriately to assess patient needs and directs patients to the appropriate clinic when necessary.
  3. Schedules appointments for primary care, specialty and surgical clinics.
  4. Collects and verifies insurance information for patients, dependents and guarantors.
  5. Utilizes the Epic system to update demographic information, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and gather any other information required
  6. Refers patients to medical staff for any and all medical advice.
  7. Answer general questions and provide information to patients.
  8. Performs related tasks and assignments as necessary.
  9. Complies with established organizational policies and procedures of WTMF.
