Senior Software Engineer (.NET) – Remote

Location: Remote (U.S.)

Salary: $150,000–$175,000 Base Salary

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join a growing software development team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of enterprise applications built on the Microsoft technology stack. You'll play a key role in delivering scalable, high-performance solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to build reliable, maintainable, and user-focused applications.

This position offers the opportunity to work on modern application architecture, enterprise software, and database optimization in a collaborative, technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications using the Microsoft technology stack.
  • Build scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions.
  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core.
  • Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases, including performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following software engineering best practices.
  • Support and enhance existing business-critical applications.
  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Participate in software architecture, design discussions, and code reviews.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6–8+ years of professional experience developing enterprise web applications.
  • Strong experience with:
    • .NET Core / ASP.NET Core
    • C#
    • JavaScript
    • HTML5
    • CSS3
  • Experience developing RESTful Web APIs.
  • Strong SQL Server experience, including:
    • Database design
    • T-SQL
    • Query optimization
    • Performance tuning
  • Solid understanding of software architecture and enterprise application design.
  • Experience building both client-side and server-side web applications.
  • Experience developing data-intensive business applications, dashboards, reporting, and workflow solutions.
  • Experience supporting and maintaining production applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Blazor.
  • Experience using UI component libraries such as Syncfusion, Telerik, SpreadsheetGear, and Bootstrap.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Background working on financial applications is a plus.
