  • Specific application programming, development methods, techniques and standards
  • Proficient in application development tools

  • Has a good knowledge of a wide area of IS concepts and practice, including the systems development life cycle, with a deep knowledge of at least one area of specialization.
  • Familiar with database software

  • Knowledge of the IS infrastructure (hardware, databases, operating systems, local area networks etc) used within the organization.
  • Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) (www.microsoft.com) covers Microsoft Windows operating systems and application development.
