Job description

Senior Logistics Analyst

Location: Huntsville, AL Clearance: Secret (or ability to obtain) Customer: Army Aviation


Role Overview

The Senior Logistics Analyst supports Army Aviation with lifecycle logistics, property accountability, maintenance operations, and sustainment planning. This role ensures accurate equipment tracking, readiness reporting, and compliance with Army and DoD standards while supporting UAS platforms and associated logistics systems.


Key Responsibilities

Property Management for Army Aviation equipment; maintain accurate records in COLTS, DPAS, ACN, and GCSS‑Army.

Equipment Disposition through DLA DRMS/AMCOM with complete documentation and database updates.

Maintenance & Sustainment Support for Army Aviation systems, including MWOs, ECPs, configuration management, and obsolescence mitigation.

Daily Maintenance Oversight of Aviation operations and Field Service Representatives; manage work orders and system upgrades.

Readiness Reporting via ACN and AESIP in accordance with Army aviation regulations.

Contract Support for CLS/PBL sustainment efforts, including performance monitoring and modification reviews.

Training & Compliance for unit personnel on supply and equipment handling.

ILS & MANPRINT support for lifecycle sustainment planning.

Policy & Procedure Integration across Army Aviation operations.


Required Qualifications

15+ years of Army/DoD logistics or aviation sustainment experience.

Strong experience developing and conducting training programs within Army Aviation

Proficiency with COLTS, DPAS, ACN, GCSS‑Army, and other LIS.

Strong understanding of DoD standards, ECP/MWO processes, and lifecycle sustainment.

Experience supporting Army aviation systems.

Ability to interpret Army regulations (AR 700‑138, AR 750‑10, DA PAM 738‑751).


Preferred Qualifications

Prior Army aviation program office experience.

Experience with CLS/PBL contracts and configuration management.

Training experience with Soldiers or civilian personnel.

Education / Experience Requirement:

BA/BS degree preferred with 15+ years logistics experience.

Security Clearance


Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. secret-level security clearance.

Travel

Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. issued passport.

Travel is expected up to 50%
