CLA is currently seeking an Audit Senior to join our State and Local Government (SLG) practice in our Mid-West Region offices. Our SLG group is one of the fastest growing practice areas within CLA consisting of 600 professionals serving over 2100 local, county, and state government agencies.

How you'll create opportunities in this Audit Senior role:

  • Plan, lead, and execute Assurance engagements to provide excellent client service.

  • Working closely with clients and decision makers while performing a wide range of assurance procedures.

  • Audit complex areas/transactions and prepare financial statements and related reports.

  • Research, analyze, and report on accounting, auditing, and related issues and developments.

  • Schedule, delegate, and train team members to help them buildinspired careers.

  • Collaborate with managers/principals to ensure effective communication and service delivery.

  • Get the opportunity to work with many great clients.

  • Develop and maintain effective client relationships.


What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required.

  • 2 years of relevant audit experience required.

  • SLG industry experience is a plus.

  • CPA or eligible to sit for the CPA exam preferred

The compensation range for this position in Minnesota is 72,000.00-$126,000.00.

The compensation range for this position in Illinois is $72,000.00-$131,000.00.
