Job description

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Application Support Engineer / System Integrator Level 2 to support mission-critical enterprise applications and systems within a secure federal environment. The successful candidate will provide operational support, troubleshooting, system integration, and sustainment for enterprise applications while working closely with engineering, infrastructure, and mission teams.

This position requires a strong background in enterprise application support, systems administration, production operations, troubleshooting, and system integration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational and technical support for enterprise applications and supporting infrastructure.
  • Monitor application and system health, availability, and performance within production environments.
  • Troubleshoot complex application, server, operating system, and integration issues.
  • Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, patching, and upgrades of enterprise applications.
  • Diagnose incidents and coordinate resolution with engineering, infrastructure, development, and vendor teams.
  • Support distributed applications and interconnected enterprise systems.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and develop solutions to recurring operational issues.
  • Support application deployments, configuration changes, upgrades, and other sustainment activities.
  • Develop scripts and automation to improve system administration, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and troubleshooting information.
  • Support incident, problem, and change management processes.
  • Ensure systems remain available, reliable, secure, and compliant with applicable customer requirements.
  • Provide technical support within mission-critical environments requiring a high level of availability.
Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise applications and production systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting applications, servers, operating systems, and related infrastructure.
  • Experience with enterprise system administration, integration, maintenance, and sustainment.
  • Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating environments.
  • Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and application connectivity.
  • Experience supporting highly available or mission-critical systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and coordinate resolution across multiple technical teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a secure federal or DoD/Intelligence Community environment.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting 24/7 production or mission environments.
  • Experience with cloud or virtualized infrastructure such as Azure, AWS, OCI, or VMware.
  • Experience with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting/automation technologies.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, or observability platforms.
  • Experience providing Tier 2/Tier 3 application or systems support.
  • Experience with application deployments, upgrades, patching, and configuration management.
  • CompTIA Security+ or other relevant technical/security certification.
  • Previous Intelligence Community or DoD contracting experience.
