The Senior Android Engineer will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality mobile applications that support digital experiences across financial planning, investing, and retirement solutions. This position requires a highly skilled Android developer with strong expertise in Kotlin, mobile architecture, and modern development practices. The ideal candidate will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, drive technical excellence, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating within Agile, cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Android applications using Kotlin.
• Build and deliver mobile features from concept through deployment as part of cross-functional Agile teams.
• Contribute to the development of scalable mobile platforms and omni-channel digital experiences.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver innovative mobile solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient code following software engineering best practices.
• Implement and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and debugging processes to ensure application quality.
• Optimize Android applications for performance, scalability, responsiveness, and reliability.
