This is an opportunity to join a remote-first technology company building Android applications that operate beyond the limits of traditional connectivity. The team develops software that integrates mobile apps with custom hardware, satellite communication, and cloud services to support mission-critical use cases. The role is full-time and fully remote within the United States. This position is ideal for an Android engineer who wants their work to matter beyond app store metrics. The software you build will be used in high-pressure, real-world scenarios where reliability, performance, and clarity are essential. You’ll collaborate closely with backend, firmware, and hardware teams while working on technically challenging problems involving connectivity, data synchronization, and offline-first design—all while maintaining strong work-life balance and focus time. Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of professional Android development experience
  • Strong proficiency with Kotlin and modern Android architecture
  • Experience building production applications using Coroutines
  • Experience working with hardware-adjacent features (Bluetooth, USB, or similar)
  • Ability to own features from concept through deployment
