Job description

Schrock Innovations is growing, and we’re looking for a friendly, motivated Junior Technician to join our Omaha Service Center team full-time.


This entry-level opportunity is a great fit for someone who enjoys helping people, has a genuine interest in technology, and wants to build hands-on experience in a supportive, customer-focused environment. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians, solve a wide variety of technology challenges, and help customers feel more confident using their devices.


What You’ll Do:

  • Assist customers through walk-in service, phone support, and scheduled in-home visits
  • Provide a positive customer experience by listening carefully, communicating clearly, and making each customer feel supported
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot first-level hardware, software, device, and network issues
  • Escalate more complex technical issues to senior technicians when appropriate
  • Help customers understand their technology and recommend practical solutions that improve their experience
  • Accurately document service events, including the issue, work performed, and resolution
  • Support other Schrock Innovations locations when needed

What We’re Looking For:

  • Availability to work a full-time schedule: Monday to Thursday, 10am to 8pm
  • High school diploma
  • At least 1 year of customer-facing experience in retail, technical support, hospitality, or another service-based environment
  • A strong desire to solve problems and help others
  • Basic familiarity with computers, smartphones, and common operating systems, including Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A valid driver’s license in good standing
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks that may include standing, bending, and kneeling
