Job description

Job Description
Senior Analytics Consultant
About the Role
Our company is seeking an experienced Senior Analytics Consultant to lead our Insights Framework engagements within our dynamic data and AI consulting practice. These are structured, workshop-driven engagements that trace an organization's strategic drivers through the business decisions, insights, KPIs, metrics, and dimensions that should inform them. In this client-facing role you'll facilitate sessions with business and technical stakeholders, draw out and align competing priorities, and synthesize them into a clear set of analytical requirements and deliverables that connect strategy to actionable data needs - setting the stage for downstream data Lakehouse and advanced analytics work. The ideal candidate has guided large, complex organizations and executive leadership teams through analytics initiatives and is equally at home leading an executive readout and a working session with data engineers.
As a Senior Analytics Consultant at our company, you'll help clients define what matters most - the decisions they need to make and the insights, KPIs, and metrics that drive them - and turn that into intuitive, widely adopted reporting. This position requires deep expertise in the Insights Framework methodology, KPI and metric definition, data visualization and storytelling, and data governance, along with enough technical fluency to translate business priorities into data requirements and guide clients through their broader data modernization journey.
What to expect when you join our company family
Team members at our company have a lot in common while also being part of a rich and diverse group of contributors, creating a distinct and thriving culture. Chief among our commonalities is a desire for growth and a shared unity of purpose in our professional lives. We believe that through diverse perspectives, challenging the status quo and rewarding action, we accelerate innovation and drive growth -- for our clients, for ourselves and for our communities.
The professional services landscape continues to evolve. For our company, this means we have an opportunity to cement our leadership position in this industry and continue to grow our organization in increasingly exciting ways. This growth is meaningful for every team member at our company because larger companies simply see more interesting client opportunities and can attract impressively talented individuals like you.
Senior Analytics Consultant Primary Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Requirements Gathering
  • Facilitate structured workshops and collaborative sessions with business leaders, business SMEs, and technical SMEs across multiple functional areas to gather, refine, and align on organizational data and reporting needs
  • Draw out relevant information from diverse stakeholder groups, manage competing perspectives, and build progressive alignment across multiple sessions and workstreams
  • Partner with C-suite executives and senior leadership to connect analytics initiatives to strategic drivers and business outcomes
  • Clearly articulate the purpose, value, and outcomes of analytical work to a range of audiences, from executive sponsors to operational teams
Insights Framework Delivery
  • Synthesize inputs from existing artifacts, workshop notes, and industry standards into a structured, well-organized framework that connects strategic priorities to actionable data needs
  • Define KPIs, metrics, and dimensions, and trace them back to underlying data sources and critical data elements
  • Design intuitive, interactive dashboards and reporting portfolios that business stakeholders actively adopt and use
  • Develop business glossaries and lightweight governance that keep terms, metrics, and definitions consistent and trusted across the organization
  • Apply the patience and discipline to fully understand business requirements before recommending technology platforms, dashboard designs, or data solutions - including the downstream data Lakehouse and advanced analytics work these engagements set up
Business Value Creation
  • Build compelling business cases for analytics and AI initiatives
  • Conduct ROI and cost-benefit assessments for proposed reporting, analytics, and platform investments
  • Develop phased roadmaps that balance quick analytical wins with the foundations for a modern data platform
  • Monitor engagement outcomes and demonstrate measurable business value to stakeholders
Project Leadership & Implementation
  • Lead cross-functional teams and engagement workstreams through the full Insights Framework lifecycle
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members and peers
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery from discovery and requirements through readout and handoff
  • Manage engagement timelines, scope, and resource allocation
  • Ensure deliverables meet our company quality standards and client expectations
Senior Analytics Consultant Required Qualifications
