The Senior Analyst position is in the firm's Consulting Group: Forensic, Valuation, and Transaction Advisory Services.


 Analyst responsibilities include:

Analysts work closely with the firm's senior staff on project teams

Analyzing financial statements and underlying accounting records

Analyzing economic and financial data using spreadsheets, programming, model building, and regression analysis
Performing research on accounting and valuation standards and literature
Conducting industry, market structure, and competitor-positioning studies
Reviewing and summarizing analyst reports, client documents, and industry trade press
Performing interview-based research through clients, government representatives, and industry associations
Assisting in the production and development of research summaries, expert reports, and the presentation of our findings
Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of analyses
Qualifications

We are seeking an individual with three to five years of relevant work experience.
The position requires a solid working knowledge of accounting and finance as well as command of a broad range of research and quantitative skills.  We are seeking highly motivated undergraduates who have majored in accounting or finance.  Other key skills include research experience; modeling and computer programming; knowledge of statistics; presentation and communication skills; and strong writing ability.  Analysts must be able to work independently and in a group, manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and solve problems creatively.
