Job Description:
The Senior Digital Sales & Activation Analyst serves as a critical driver to unlock digital growth for the Mars Pet Nutrition portfolio on the Walmart team. Based out of our BEN office in Northwest Arkansas, this position is responsible for driving digital penetration by optimizing our digital shelf presence, content processes, and helping execute strategic digital activations.
A central vision for this role is to help build a solid digital foundation across our Walmart business. The analyst will help design, build, and scale user-friendly dashboards, tools, and processes that elevate digital literacy and execution across the broader Walmart sales team. Through flawless execution of our digital shelf strategy, this role will help Mars close competitive gaps and help transition us to a sustainable competitive advantage via a relentless "test-and-learn" mentality and ultimately help establish Mars as a trusted digital thought leader with Walmart.
We are looking for an analytical, naturally curious, and resourceful professional who is eager to solve complex problems and grow within the Mars organization.
This role is based in Bentonville, AR, with regular in-office collaboration expected given the strategic partnership with Walmart. Flexibility is a key enabler, empowering Associates to make choices that support both business outcomes and personal needs, including occasional remote work.
What will be your key responsibilities:
  • Optimize Content Strategy with focus on AEO/GEO: Optimize the end-to-end content process and strategy for Mars Pet Nutrition brands to improve discoverability, conversion, and overall digital shelf excellence on Walmart platforms.
  • Help Build Digital Foundation and Operational Tools: Build digital scorecards (utilizing Excel, PowerBI) to track digital sales KPIs and communicate performance visibility to the broader team with a focus on actionable insights. Ultimately partnering with our data and analytics team to scale and maintain to tools.
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis & Deep Dives: Utilize Walmart Scintilla, digital store walks, and other data sources to perform analytical deep-dives, proactively identifying competitive dynamics, content gaps, and digital growth opportunities.
  • Activation Partnership & Analysis: Partner directly with the Activation Manager to assist in crafting, executing, and analyzing custom digital activation plans designed to achieve sales objectives while championing a "test-and-learn" mentality.

Must-Have Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 1-2 years of CPG experience in eCommerce, data analytics, sales, or category management.
  • Advanced technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven analytical skills driven by natural curiosity and a desire to solve complex problems.
  • Successful experience building collaborative relationships across internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated Bias for Action.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency or hands-on experience with PowerBI is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated experience with Walmart Scintilla Shopper Behavior Data.
  • AEO/GEO Experience
