Job description

Housekeeper-Part-Time
Location:
American House-Cottage
Industry: Assisted Living / Senior Care
Shifts: Days, Afternoons, Evenings, Weekends (varies by community)

At American House, our Housekeepers help create a clean, safe, and welcoming home where residents can thrive. If you take pride in your work and enjoy serving others, you'll love being part of our team.
What You'll Do
  • Clean resident apartments: vacuuming, mopping, dusting, disinfecting, trash removal, making beds, and linen service
  • Clean public spaces and restrooms, ensuring adequate supplies throughout the day
  • Monitor the building for cleanliness and sanitation needs
  • Transport trash and waste to disposal areas
  • Wash, dry, fold, and distribute personal laundry and linens
  • Change bedding and maintain tidy laundry spaces
  • Interact politely with prospective resident tours

What You Bring
  • Ability to operate housekeeping equipment (vacuum, mop, washer/dryer, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
  • Ability to work various schedules and shifts
  • Good communication skills and a customer-service mindset
