Our Surgical Department wants to add a new OR Support Tech to their dynamic team (Pod 5).  Our ideal candidate will have great attention to detail, be team-oriented, and be willing to help whenever needed.   Previous hospital experience is highly preferred.

  • Days 10:30am-9pm (Mon-Fri)
  • Weekend/Holiday rotation

This team has the opportunity to work with surgeons deploying the latest technologies (intra-operative MRI, laser surgery, monteris auto litt).


Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Function as a team member in the operating room to support medical and nursing staff during the pre, intra, and post-operative phase, including room turnover, clean and stock supplies and equipment and patient transport.

Responsibilities

  • Transports patients timely, safely and with proper documents.
  • Assists with room turnover. Has necessary equipment gathered, assists with gathering and removing soiled trash, and linen, biohazardous waste.
  • Assists with positioning and prepping of patient. Obtains blood and blood products, additional supplies, equipment, instruments as needed during procedure.
  • Performs housekeeping duties to assigned areas.
