BEPC is actively looking for Sr Advanced Systems Engineer in Clearwater, FL area!

W2 Contract – 6 months with possible extension!

Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
Pay Rate: $64.00 - $66.76 /hour - Determined based on experience (Paid weekly)

Work Model: Onsite role

Note: This is a W2 only role — C2C, C2H will not be considered


Summary of the position:

 

BEPC is seeking a highly motivated Sr Advanced Systems Engineer to join our client’s site in Clearwater, FL. This role will support the software and hardware qualification testing of navigation products.

The engineer will develop test plans, execute verification and validation activities, analyze performance data, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure navigation systems meet rigorous technical and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working hands-on in a lab environment with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and data bus analyzers and will frequently support testing in environmental qualification facilities.

  1. Tell us about your experience performing hardware and software qualification testing for embedded or navigation systems. What test methods and tools have you used?
  2. Describe your comfort level working in an engineering lab environment. What types of test equipment have you used (hardware and software)?
  3. Have you supported environmental or DO-160 / MIL-STD-810 testing? What roles did you play in those test campaigns?
  4. Walk us through how you investigate and troubleshoot a unit that fails qualification testing. What steps do you take to isolate root cause?

Main Qualifications: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field. With preferences for: Electrical, Aerospace, Computer Science.
  • At least 6–8 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Comfortable working hands-on in a lab environment.
  • Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and data bus analyzers.
