Join Aprio's Technology Client Accounting Services team and you will help fast-growing technology and ecommerce companies build the financial foundation they need to scale. Aprio Advisory Group, LLC is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a tech-savvy, detail-driven Senior Associate to join our dynamic, distributed team. 
 
Position Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for a portfolio of technology and ecommerce clients. 
  • Own and coordinate weekly accounting activities and month-end close, ensuring reconciliations are completed accurately and on time by the engagement team. 
  • Complete initial reviews of team work and meet with clients to walk through monthly reporting.
  • Review client current and future state, diagnose errors, and recommend fixes for both prior periods and going forward.
  • Document processes and maintain strong working knowledge of accounting systems and their integrations.
  • Support and mentor junior and offshore team members as part of a knowledge-sharing team.
  • Identify opportunities to improve client workflows through automation and better tooling. 
Qualifications:
  • Adept with modern accounting technology and how it is used to automate close and reporting.
  • Proficient with QuickBooks Online and NetSuite. Experience with Ramp, Bill.com, Gusto preferred.
  • Experience serving technology, ecommerce, or fast-growth startup clients preferred.
  • Strong project management mindset with the ability to manage multiple clients with consistency.
  • Able to work independently, manage competing priorities, and hit deadlines.
  • Comfortable and effective working in a distributed, remote team environment.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel and Adobe Acrobat skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team-oriented and flexible. 
Education and Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in a client-facing accounting role, with strong knowledge of financials, general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliation.
  • Experience with technology or ecommerce clients preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or a related field required.
  • CPA preferred but not required. 
$85,000 - $115,000 a year
The salary range for this opportunity is stated above. As such, an actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of the range, and in certain circumstances, may wind up being outside of the listed salary range.
