Job description

Junior Title Clerk – Powersports & Watercraft

Location: Myrtle Beach, SC
Position: Full-Time

Job Overview

Redline Powersports is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Junior Title Clerk to join our accounting/title team at our Myrtle Beach location.

This position will work closely with our Senior Title Clerk to process title and registration paperwork for motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, personal watercraft, boats, and other powersports units. The Junior Title Clerk will primarily support our Myrtle Beach location while also assisting with title work for our other dealership locations as needed.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has dealership, DMV, title, or administrative experience and wants to continue developing their knowledge of title and registration processes. Previous title experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who is organized, accurate, and eager to learn.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with processing new and used powersports and watercraft title and registration paperwork

  • Work alongside the Senior Title Clerk to ensure title work is completed accurately and submitted timely

  • Process in-state and out-of-state title and registration transactions

  • Review deals for required title documents, signatures, lienholder information, and supporting documentation

  • Prepare and submit DMV and DNR paperwork as required

  • Assist with title work for other Redline Powersports locations

  • Track outstanding title work and follow up on missing documentation

  • Communicate with customers, lienholders, DMV/DNR offices, and dealership personnel when additional information is needed

  • Maintain accurate title records and copies of completed documentation

  • Assist with resolving title discrepancies, rejected paperwork, and other title-related issues

  • Help ensure dealership title work remains compliant with applicable state requirements

  • Provide additional administrative and accounting support as needed

Qualifications
  • Previous automotive, powersports, marine, DMV, tag/title, or dealership experience preferred

  • Previous title processing experience is a plus

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to stay organized while managing multiple transactions and deadlines

  • Comfortable working with paperwork, computer systems, spreadsheets, and online DMV/DNR portals

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to research and problem-solve when title requirements vary by state or transaction

  • Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team

  • Willingness to learn powersports and watercraft title requirements

What We're Looking For

Title work can be very detail-driven, so we're looking for someone who enjoys keeping things organized, catching small details, and seeing a transaction through from beginning to end. You don't need to know everything on day one. You'll be working alongside an experienced Senior Title Clerk and a larger accounting team who can help you learn our processes and the unique requirements that come with powersports and watercraft transactions.

The ideal candidate is someone who is reliable, organized, willing to ask questions, comfortable learning new processes, and takes pride in getting things right.
