About Atlassian Accessibility

Atlassian’s Accessibility Team is dedicated to making every Atlassian experience accessible for people living with disabilities. We are building an Accessibility Center of Excellence to elevate disability awareness, provide training and guidance, and drive accessibility best practices across all Atlassian products and teams.

The Role

As a Senior Technical Program Manager - Accessibility, you will lead cross‑functional programs to ensure Atlassian’s products and services meet or exceed accessibility standards. You will partner with engineering, design, product, and compliance teams to drive accessibility initiatives, manage governance and reporting, and foster a culture of inclusion and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead Accessibility Programs: Drive the strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of accessibility programs across Atlassian’s product portfolio.
  • Governance & Compliance: Develop and manage processes for measuring and tracking compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate with engineering, design, QA, product, and compliance teams to prioritize and deliver accessibility improvements.
  • Program Management: Build and maintain program roadmaps, manage dependencies, risks, and change, and ensure timely delivery of accessibility outcomes.
  • Reporting & Communication: Establish and maintain reporting mechanisms, scorecards, and quarterly updates for leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Education & Advocacy: Provide training, guidance, and coaching to teams; promote accessibility best practices and foster a culture of inclusion.
  • Customer Engagement: Support customer‑facing teams in addressing accessibility issues and building trusted relationships with the disability community.
About You
  • 7+ years of technical program management experience, with a strong background in accessibility, product development, or related fields.
  • Deep understanding of accessibility standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Experience leading large‑scale, cross‑functional programs in a technology environment.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to translate accessibility requirements into actionable plans for engineering and design teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical, data‑driven, and comfortable with ambiguity and change.
  • Passionate about building inclusive products and empowering teams to deliver accessible experiences.
Nice To Have
  • Accessibility certification (e.g., IAAP CPACC, WAS, or comparable).

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

  • Zone A: $171,900 - $224,425
  • Zone B: $154,800 - $202,100
  • Zone C: $143,100 - $186,825

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
