Job Description:
Digital Accessibility Compliance Reviews
• Review notifications and requests from multiple systems related to ICT purchases, contracts, web content and digital platforms
• Evaluate materials against applicable compliance and accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.0 and WCAG 2.1 Level AA
• Determine whether items meet compliance requirements or require mitigation, documentation, or escalation to leadership
Data Gathering and Analysis
• Collect and organize data related to digital compliance and accessibility activities and departmental submissions
• Analyze trends across accessibility compliance plans and procurement reviews
• Compile findings to support reports, summaries and leadership decision-making
Documentation and Records Management
• Maintain and update compliance records, including case files, logs and compliance calendars
• Track submissions such as Digital ADA Accessibility Compliance Plans and related correspondence
• Ensure accuracy, consistency and completeness of all compliance documentation
Mitigation Planning and Solution Support
• Prepare and route mitigation plans and supporting documentation for leadership review and approval
• Assist in developing and documenting corrective actions for identified accessibility gaps
• Support implementation and monitoring of approved solutions to ensure compliance objectives are met
Reporting and Communication
• Draft compliance summaries, review outcomes and status updates for leadership
• Communicate findings, questions and recommendations to stakeholders across departments
• Support coordination efforts between the ADA Compliance Office and campus units
Administrative and Program Support
• Perform administrative tasks in support of the digital compliance and accessibility program
• Assist with organizing submissions, maintaining tracking systems and supporting workflow processes
• Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive compliance information appropriately
Expected Salary:
$61,000-$70,000
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of experience in appropriate area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred:
• Experience with digital accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.0 or WCAG 2.1 Level AA
• Familiarity with ADA Title II, Section 504 and other federal or state accessibility regulations
• Experience reviewing or auditing websites, digital content or information and communication technology (ICT) for accessibility compliance
• Knowledge of accessibility tools and testing methods (e.g., screen readers, automated testing tools, manual evaluation techniques)
• Experience supporting procurement or contract review processes related to accessibility requirements
• Experience analyzing compliance data and contributing to reports or accessibility plans
• Strong written communication skills with experience preparing compliance documentation, summaries or reports
• Ability to interpret policies, procedures and regulatory guidance and apply them to routine compliance scenarios
• Experience working with case management systems, compliance tracking tools or document management systems
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple compliance reviews, deadlines and priorities
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including technical teams, procurement staff and administrative units
• Basic understanding of web technologies (e.g., HTML, PDFs, digital document structure) as they relate to accessibility
