Internships typically run from late May through August but are flexible with school schedules. Agricultural Intern-Summer 2026Qualifications:Current student in college (no year requirement, 1 year students are encouraged to apply!)Background or interest in pursuing a career in Ag Business, Crop/Soil Sciences, or Farm ManagementTraining/Internship Plan Outline:Assist field team with planting operations and schedulingSkill building in scouting, crop maturity assessment, crop quality assessment, and crop harvesting logisticsSkill building in team management, training, raw product evaluation and flow, and harvest schedulingOpportunities to learn harvest equipment functions and raw product harvesting processDevelop an understanding of raw product flow including truck routing, product grading, and harvest planningOpportunities for projects that compliment your skills and interests to enhance overall productive and reduce costs of the businessCommunication skills with growers, landowners, department leads, and other Seneca processing plantsBoth planting and harvest activities require attention 7 days a week; there will be opportunities for overtime as well as time-off to fit with commitments both for school and personal.
