Job Description:
Our client in Wilmington, DE is seeking a dedicated Manual Machine Operator and Assembler to contribute to their fast-paced and innovative environment. As a key team member, you will be crucial in machining, assembling and inspecting lighting products, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines, and maintaining efficient production processes.
· Deburring of aluminum parts and castings.
- operating manual lathes/drill press for sheet metal fabrication
. Phosphating castings and aluminum shafts
· Wrapping poles for shipment.
. Assemble and inspect LED arrays to be used in outdoor light fixtures.
· Make sure that the workstation is clean and free of hazardous materials.
· Assembles product parts by hand or power tools such as a drill.
· Affixes labels, company logos, and other exterior details to products.
· Unloads and loads shipments.
Adheres to all safety guidelines dictating the production and handling of materials in the factory
Requirements:
- 2+ years in production/assembly environment
- 1-2 years working with manual machining (preferably drill press and lathes)
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Unpaid 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute breaks provided based on business needs.
- No travel required for this position.
- willingness to contribute to multiple departments within organization based on need (electrical assembly, packaging, phosphating, etc.)
