Job description

Who We're Looking For - Marketing Manager, Reviews.org
Reviews.org has built a loyal audience by helping people cut through the noise on internet, TV, mobile, and home services. We're looking for a Marketing Manager who can take that foundation and grow it in new directions: building durable reach beyond search, and building revenue streams beyond our current model.
This role is unique in that it isn't about defending existing SEO share alone. You'll be judged on two things: how well you expand organic reach through channels beyond search - video, email, and syndication/distribution - and how successfully you diversify the ways this brand makes money. You'll have the budget, resources, and license to test new channels and business models, and the accountability to prove they work.
You'll lead a cross-functional team and work closely with editorial, content, compliance, and analytics to build a long-term roadmap for the brand. We're looking for someone who can start fast, bring a point of view on where the growth is, and build the plan and the team to go get it.
Clearlink is a remote-friendly company, prioritizing virtual and in-person collaboration. This is a remote-first role for candidates who are located outside of Utah and outside of commuting distance. For candidates residing within 50 miles of our Salt Lake City, Utah office, a hybrid schedule of 2-3 days in-office is required.
The Impact You Will Make
What You Own
  • Organic expansion. You own audience growth beyond traditional SEO - building and scaling video, email, and syndication/distribution channels - and you're accountable for the reach and traffic those channels drive.
  • Revenue diversification. You own the exploration and build-out of new monetization paths for the brand, reducing reliance on any single revenue source and proving out what else can work.
  • The brand's marketing roadmap. Alongside your Managing Director, you set the long-term strategy for Reviews.org - channel mix, campaigns, and priorities - and you prioritize your team's work against it.
Grow organic reach beyond search
  • Build and scale channels outside of SEO - video, email, syndication, and content distribution - as durable, repeatable sources of organic traffic and audience growth.
  • Set baselines, targets, and a measurement cadence for each channel so progress toward organic growth is visible and tied to business goals.
  • Partner with your editorial team and SEO so search and non-search channels reinforce each other rather than compete for the same resources.
Diversify revenue
  • Identify and test new revenue opportunities for the brand beyond the current model - new partners, products, formats, or monetization mechanics.
  • Build the business case for new revenue streams: size the opportunity, define success metrics, and bring in the right partners to validate it.
  • Balance near-term revenue performance with the longer-term work of building channels and revenue lines that don't yet exist.
  • Report on the performance and forecast-versus-actual of new revenue initiatives, and make the call on what to scale, iterate, or sunset.
Lead the team and the work
  • Lead a cross-functional marketing team - potentially spanning content, SEO, video, email, and design - with a focus on execution, growth, and development.
  • Develop new marketing channels from the ground up: craft the strategic plan, win team and stakeholder support, and execute with a dedication to iterative improvement.
  • Collaborate with product, compliance, and analytics to shepherd initiatives through production and ensure they land against business objectives.
  • Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and the competitive landscape to spot where organic reach and new revenue opportunities are being left on the table.
  • Set a standard of excellence for the team's output, and raise roadblocks early when support from other teams isn't meeting what the work needs.
How You'll Work
  • Operate with clear ownership of your KPIs - organic expansion and revenue diversification - and bring your own judgment to how you get there.
  • Build process and execute where none exists yet; several of these channels and revenue lines are net-new for the brand.
  • Balance long-term strategic bets with the near-term work of keeping current performance healthy.
  • Move with a bias toward testing and learning quickly, rather than waiting for a perfect plan.
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience, including experience building channels beyond paid/organic search - e.g., video, email, or content syndication and distribution.
  • A track record of developing new marketing channels or revenue streams from the ground up, not just optimizing existing ones.
  • Experience managing marketing teams and leading cross-functional collaborators.
  • Comfort owning KPIs: defining them, setting baselines and targets, and reporting progress against them.
  • Strong analytical skills and fluency with web analytics and competitive research tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or similar).
  • Experience with, or strong working knowledge of, revenue models beyond advertising - e.g., partnerships, lead generation, subscriptions, or licensing.
  • Independent thinking and the ability to work with minimal direction or supervision.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate performance data into a story for executives and partners.

Perks That Set Us Apart
  • Healthcare: We offer low-cost, competitive health coverage (domestic partners included!) with employer-paid counseling services.
  • Invest in the Future: Enjoy 401(k) matching after just two months of employment, with employer matching starting at ~3%.

  • Flex Schedule: This role is remote-first, with a hybrid requirement for team members located within a 50-mile radius of our Salt Lake City, Utah office. For locals, expect in-office collaboration on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with Wednesdays designated as a flex day based on team and manager needs. Remaining workdays are remote, depending on role requirements.
  • Comprehensive Life Insurance: Ensure peace of mind with coverage that extends beyond the workplace with employer paid life insurance (including coverage for dependents and spouses).
  • Employee Resource Groups (ERGs): Join us in fostering connections, celebrating diversity, and providing a supportive community for all.

At Clearlink, we go beyond the basics, ensuring your experience with us is not just professionally fulfilling but personally enriching too.
