Drive Growth. Build Relationships. Deliver Solutions.
BME is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Account Manager to help drive our continued growth in the Commercial, Industrial, and Mechanical (CIM) markets. This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven sales professional who thrives on building relationships, solving customer challenges, and creating long-term value for clients.
We're looking for someone who understands the commercial HVAC industry, enjoys being in front of customers, and has the drive to uncover opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and close business. If you're motivated by results, enjoy the freedom of managing your territory, and want to be rewarded for your performance, we'd like to talk with you.
This hybrid role is designed for a relationship-focused sales professional who wants the best of both worlds—approximately 70% of your time will be spent in the field meeting with customers and developing new business, while the remaining 30% can be worked remotely from your home office.
What You'll Do
As a Commercial HVAC Account Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying, developing, and growing relationships with commercial building owners, facility managers, property managers, and decision-makers throughout your territory.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and maintaining trusted client relationships that drive long-term revenue growth.
  • Prospecting and generating new business through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and strategic business development activities.
  • Identifying customer challenges and recommending HVAC service, maintenance, repair, retrofit, and energy-saving solutions.
  • Conducting site visits, facility assessments, and solution presentations.
  • Developing pricing strategies, proposals, maintenance agreements, and service contract opportunities.
  • Collaborating with operations teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences and successful project execution.
  • Managing the complete sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution.
  • Maintaining accurate opportunity pipelines, forecasting, and customer activity within Salesforce or CRM platforms.
  • Creating compelling business cases and lifecycle cost analyses that demonstrate measurable customer value.
  • Staying informed on industry trends, technologies, and best practices within the commercial HVAC marketplace.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of HVAC sales experience.
  • Proven success selling commercial or light commercial HVAC solutions.
  • Experience working within Commercial, Industrial, and Mechanical (CIM) markets.
  • Strong consultative sales skills with the ability to uncover customer needs and present value-driven solutions.
  • Demonstrated track record of prospecting, developing, and closing new business opportunities.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles and building long-term client relationships.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally throughout the assigned territory.
  • Experience in selling value-based solutions with financial justification
  • Ability to understand mechanical systems and basic HVAC control programs
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Equivalent industry experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • Industry certifications are highly valued.
  • Experience selling HVAC service agreements, maintenance programs, retrofit projects, or energy efficiency solutions.
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation
  • Base Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 annually
  • Performance-Based Commission Plan
  • On-target earnings designed to generate an additional 20%–30% of base salary
  • Monthly Car Stipend
Benefits
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance effective on Day One
  • Weekly Pay
  • 401(k) with Company Match
  • Company-Paid Life Insurance
  • Paid Vacation
  • Ongoing Professional Development and Industry Training
  • Clear Career Growth Opportunities
Why Join BME?
