Job description

Part-Time Assistant Manager – Self-Storage Facility

Position Summary: The Assistant Manager supports the daily operations of the self-storage facility by providing customer service, maintaining accurate records, assisting with leasing activities, monitoring facility conditions, and supporting compliance with company policies and applicable laws. 

Pay Range: $15.00-$17.00/hour

Location: Milwaukee, WI, US, 53212

Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
    • Schedule may be adjusted based on operational needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Office Operations - opening/closing office, customer service, documents administration, scheduling, processing payments, data entry and recordkeeping.
  • Leasing/Tenant Support - assist with move-in and move-out process, discuss rental options and retail product sold on-site
  • Facility Oversight and Maintenance Support - routine inspection of property equipment, monitoring for malfunctions and damage, basic maintenance and cleaning of facility.
  • Security Support - monitoring and reporting suspicious activity, safety concerns, and accidents
  • Additional supportive responsibilities may be required 

Physical Requirements:

  • Walking the property regularly.
  • Standing for extended periods.
  • Light lifting, carrying, or moving of office and cleaning supplies weighing up to 15lbs.
  • Bending, reaching, and general cleaning activities.
  • Working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
    • Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities consistent with applicable law.
