Job description

Manager, Product Management- Self-Service User Experience

Product Management at Capital One is a booming, vibrant craft that requires reimagining the status quo, finding value creation opportunities, and driving innovative and sustainable customer experiences through technology. We believe our portfolio of businesses and investments in growth and transformation will result in a company with the scale, brand, capabilities, talent, and values to succeed as the digital revolution transforms our society and our industry.

About the Team
As the Manager, Product Management for Self-Service User Experience, you will champion the internal ecosystem for both our internal and external engineering teams. Your mission is to redefine developer productivity by building an intuitive, self-service UI platform that empowers engineers to work faster, smarter, and with minimal friction. By treating engineers and product teams as your primary customers, you will design automated, intelligent UI workflows that streamline day-to-day development. In this role, you will lead two high-performing technology teams, balancing rapid innovation with the rigorous security and compliance frameworks of a premier global financial institution.

Success will be defined by your ability to drive adoption, elevate developer satisfaction, and significantly reduce operational friction.
Acting as a critical bridge between technical teams and product managers, you will cultivate a deeply user-centric culture. You will conduct regular user research to identify and eliminate systemic friction points, translating those insights into an actionable UI/UX strategy. Partnering closely with Technology and Product leaders, you will co-create intuitive interfaces that reduce risk with user delight. Ultimately, you will build compliance and efficiency directly into our tooling, removing administrative overhead so product managers and developers can focus entirely on delivering world-class core products.
