Gymnastics Instructor (Part Time)
Dates: Varies Depending on Season
Hours: Monday through Sunday
Location: Ackerman SFC, 800 St. Charles Road, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137
JOB SUMMARY
Interested in joining our Gymnastics team? We are seeking qualified instructors to provide instruction for our participants at our brand new 6,000 square foot gymnastics center at Ackerman SFC. Under the direction and supervision of the Gymnastics Manager, Gymnastics Instructors are responsible for instructing participants' various skills and drills as they pertain to their age or level. Duties include but are not limited to developing and facilitating activities and drills, class set-up and takedown, hosting birthday parties, and creating a fun, friendly environment for participants to learn.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
The ideal candidate will have a passion for gymnastics, be self-motivated and have an outgoing energetic personality. Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with participants and their parents, staff, and the public are essential. First Aid/CPR/AED certified highly desired (GEPD will provide this training when needed). Previous playing and/or coaching experience is required. High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
