Assistant Litigation Docket Manager
Confidential Am Law Firm | Los Angeles, Century City, Orange County, Palo Alto, or San Francisco, CA
Salary: $120,000 - $135,000
Schedule: Full-Time, Hybrid
LHH is partnering with a prestigious, confidential law firm to identify an Assistant Litigation Docket Manager. This role is responsible for maintaining litigation calendars, reviewing court filings for docketing deadlines, supporting docketing operations, and ensuring compliance with court rules and procedures.
The ideal candidate will have strong litigation calendaring experience, knowledge of California state and federal court rules, and a demonstrated history of career stability.
Responsibilities
  • Review litigation filings and enter deadlines into the firm's docketing and calendaring system.
  • Maintain accurate litigation calendars and monitor critical case deadlines.
  • Index court documents and update docket records.
  • Maintain attorney bar admission and e-filing credential information.
  • Assist with litigation records, knowledge management, and docket-related initiatives.
  • Support training of junior docketing professionals and review work for accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct research using court databases and docketing platforms, including PACER and Bloomberg.
  • Assist with department projects and administrative responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a managing attorney's office, clerk's office, or litigation docketing environment within a law firm.
  • Strong knowledge of California state and federal courts, court procedures, and filing requirements.
  • Experience with docketing and calendaring software, including CourtAlert or similar platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with attorneys and staff.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: $120,000 - $135,000
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off
