As a Security Officer Full Time Door Security in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue and collect visitor badges, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; escalate concerns according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entryways, office areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Communicate professionally with site contacts, law enforcement, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, access issues, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
