Job description

Oneida Technical Solutions, LLC (OTS) has a rich history of providing IT support and associated services in highly complex, highly regulated, highly secure environments, including the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), law enforcement, health care, retail, and the casino gaming industry. OTS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Oneida Innovations Group and is the parent company of Croop-LaFrance (CLF), an experienced federal contracting firm.
Job Title: Systems Administrator II
Location: Buckley Space Force Station, Aurora, CO
Security Clearance: Secret Clearance (Active or Eligible)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Systems Administrator II to join our team at Buckley Space Force Station. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and supporting complex IT systems, ensuring their security, availability, and performance in line with mission requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer, monitor, and maintain computer systems and networks, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
  • Perform daily system management tasks, including system backups, restores, patch management, and user administration.
  • Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies to maintain the integrity and security of the system.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Monitor system performance and perform tuning for optimal system operations.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of system upgrades and patches.
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, changes, and processes.
  • Collaborate with team members and support personnel to identify and resolve complex issues.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (equivalent experience may be substituted).
  • 2-6 years of experience in systems administration or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Experience with network infrastructure and configuration (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Knowledge of DoD security practices and compliance (e.g., DISA STIGs, RMF).
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Active Secret Clearance (interim acceptable)
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or other IAT-Level II Certification or higher.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a DoD or aerospace environment.
