Job Summary:

A Service Technician will be traveling daily to customer sites within a designated territory, performing routine maintenance and repairs to customer core product lines of cash automation products, ATMs & ITMs, conventional bank equipment and electronic security equipment ensuring minimal downtime. This position will ensure that these products are functioning properly and that any problems are addressed promptly. They may interact daily with customers or their designated contacts to ensure customer satisfaction with our services.

Requirements

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent military or trade school preferred.

Certifications & Licensing:

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Acceptable Driving Record
  • NICET Certification in Fire Alarms is a plus

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Administrative Skills: Proficient in computer software application such as Android app software to include but not limited to timecards, expenses, inventory control management.
  • Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues and has skills in disassembling & repairing assemblies.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of how to input settings & configure equipment. Provides feedback on product performance or issues and has knowledge of training principals and the ability to apply them to on-the-job-training.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL-MENTAL FUNCTIONS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

Must be able to manipulate small objects with close eye-hand and arm-hand coordination for entire shift.

Able to perform motor skills such as grasping, finger manipulation, pinching, bending, reaching out, twisting, turning, reaching up, wrist turning/torqueing for 2 hours continuously.

Able to effectively communicate with customer base, both orally and in writing.

Able to see objects closely, discriminate colors, perceive depth continuously.

Able to understand, relate to, and apply concepts on a continuous basis.

Able to remember multiple tasks / assignments given to self and others over long periods of time continuously.

Able to drive vehicle from site to site in order to provide technical support for our customers.

Driving requirements may be up to and including 4-6 hours per day and on occasion up to 10 hours.

Must be able to use power tools such as a drill or saw overhead.

Able to climb ladders up to 20 feet high
