Position Overview:

The Security Analyst supports customer engagements by helping to deliver business and technology solutions, interacting with clients to understand their requirements, and managing project teams to deliver solutions leveraging WWT’s capabilities. A key trait will be the willingness and appetite to perform the role in a high growth and dynamic space. This is an individual contributor role who works closely Engagement Managers and Security delivery teams. The position includes (minimal) travel as needed.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist with end-to-end project management for cybersecurity engagements, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (security engineers, architects, compliance, IT, and business stakeholders) to deliver security projects on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with the EM to develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, risk registers, and status reports
  • Track and report project progress to project leadership and stakeholders, escalating risks and issues as needed
  • Manage project risks, dependencies, and change requests using established methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)
  • Facilitate meetings, working sessions, and steering committee reviews; document decisions and action items
  • Manage vendor and third-party relationships related to security project deliverables
  • Assist in project planning, coordination, and execution to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain project documentation, including charters, RACI matrices, runbooks, and lessons learned
  • Create project documentation including technical documents such as process flows and user manuals.
  • Participate in cybersecurity/technical training, certifications, and internal knowledge programs to develop expertise in emerging technologies and cybersecurity solutions.
  • Collaborate with Engagement Managers senior engineers and consultants to build project leadership and consulting skills.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS and/or a combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years' progressive experience in a Cybersecurity Project Manager role.
  • Basic understanding of networking, cloud, or cybersecurity concepts.
  • Exposure to security platforms such as Palo Alto, Illumio, Zscaler and general network security projects.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
  • Experience delivering project management in a professional services or consulting environment.
  • Must have experience managing client expectations, vendor terms, and internal resource alignment
  • Demonstrated leadership in providing project deliverables as assigned
  • Ability to manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and track profitability across projects
  • Skilled at navigating complex challenges with analytical rigor
  • Experience in effectively influencing and leading internal and external teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities including requirements gathering, documentation and stakeholder coordination.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, client-facing environments with evolving priorities.
  • Excellent problem solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills to engage clients, teams, and executives
  • Proficiency with project management software, Powerpoint , Sharepoint and MSTeams

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $72,000 - $90,000 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
