Job description

Position Summary:
The Tribal Security Officer ensures the safety and security for Guests, Team Members, and Tribal Citizensat all company properties, the Tribal Office, and Tribal Lands. Perform responsibilities in accordance withall Company standards, policies, and procedures.
Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promotingour values.
2. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.
3. Patrol and observe all public and private areas, Tribal Lands, Team Member service areas, and
Company grounds for the safety of Guests, Team Members and Tribal Citizens.
4. Patrol tribal lands, keeping unauthorized persons from loitering or occupying the properties, reportingunusual.
5. Man stationary posts at designated locations, preventing unauthorized access and deterring illegaland/or suspicious activity.
6. Respond to all disturbances. Be aware of your surroundings and prepared to become involved in aphysical confrontation if necessary.
7. Observe, report, and respond to all suspicious and unusual situations.in accordance with departmentand company policy.
8. Know and enforce all applicable laws, policies, and procedures.
9. Detect and address actions and hazards that may result in liability for the company.
10. Respond to and assist in all emergencies, including but not limited to fires, medical emergencies, andcriminal activity.
11. Transport and protect company funds and assets.
12. Complete incident reports as directed by Security Management.
13. Escort Team Members and designated Tribal Citizens to and from their vehicles when requested.
14. Maintain a daily log of activities and incidents involving Security.
15. Read and respond to emails received.
16. Maintain a high level of personal integrity.
17. Maintain confidentiality of all information related to company and security operations.
18. Practice teamwork, support fellow Team Members, and create an energized and positive work
atmosphere.
19. Maintain grooming and uniform standards.
20. Inspect and maintain all company issued equipment.
21. Have knowledge of SDS booklet location for your assigned area and familiarization.
22. May assume the role of Security Officer.

Non-Essential Functions:
1. Organizing their work area, including, but not limited to, the Security Dispatch Office, Security Podium,the Security Administration Office, and Security vehicles, keeping those work areas clean.
2. Administrative tasks as assigned by management, including, but not limited to:
a. Stocking/checking inventory of Security workspaces and Medical Bags.
Required Qualifications:
1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written andverbal form.
2. High School Diploma or equivalent.
3. Be at least 21 years of age.
4. Be able to work flexible hours as needed, including weekends, Holidays and Special events.
5. Possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
6. Be able to obtain the following certifications from the Bureau of Security and Investigation Servicesonce hired: Guard Card, Baton Certification, Chemical Agent Certification (Company will arrange thetraining).
7. Be able to obtain a Basic Life Support Certification once hired (Company will provide the training).
8. Be able to complete Graton Resort & Casino's Security Academy once hired.
9. Be able to complete the Guest Intoxication Awareness training yearly.
