Responsibilities

Keysight Technologies is seeking a Global Security Director to lead physical security operations across approximately 170 sites in more than 30 countries. This role provides global integration, direction, and oversight of global security strategy including c-suite, execution, and continuous improvement while enabling strong regional and functional leaders to deliver daytoday operations.

This is a handson, actionoriented leadership role based on site in Santa Rosa, California. The Global Security Manager is responsible for setting direction, prioritizing work, allocating resources, and triggering execution through internal leaders and external partners. This is not a consulting role. It is an operational leadership position focused on coordination, execution, and practical risk management at scale.

Key ResponsibilitiesGlobal Security Leadership and Integration
  • Provide overall leadership and integration across global security functions including executive security, crisis management, operational security, and security project delivery
  • Set clear priorities and ensure alignment across security leaders and regions
  • Maintain a consistent global security posture while allowing flexibility for regional risk and business needs
Physical Security Oversight
  • Oversee physical security for all Keysight sites worldwide
  • Adjust security controls and guard presence based on evolving threat conditions using a data driven approach
  • Ensure effective deterrence, access control, and site protection measures are in place globally
Security Staffing and Vendor Management
  • Own global security staffing strategy, including periodic reviews and adjustments
  • Provide executive oversight of thirdparty security providers, primarily Securitas
  • Lead a team of already well established crisis management, operational security and project management professionals. 
  • Ensure global consistency in guard services, patrol standards, escalation processes, and professionalism
  • Hold vendors accountable for performance, service quality, and contract alignment
Security Systems and Site Hardening
  • Provide leadership oversight for global access control systems and physical security technologies
  • Ensure systems are integrated, standardized where appropriate, and reliable
  • Sponsor and prioritize security hardening initiatives that strengthen perimeter protection and reduce site vulnerability
  • Partner with facilities, IT, and real estate teams on securityrelated capital projects
Crisis and Incident Management
  • Provide leadership and coordination for global physical security incidents and crisis events
  • Support crisis preparedness, response, and recovery through established programs and playbooks through leadership to a well established team
  • Partner with HR, Legal, EHS, Facilities and business leadership during sensitive or highimpact events
Budget, Capital, and Planning
  • Own global annual operating budgets for physical security 
  • Develop capital investment recommendations for security hardening and system improvements
  • Ensure spending is riskinformed first, scalable, and aligned with business priorities
Communication and Culture
  • Oversee clear, practical messaging to employees regarding site security and safety
  • Reinforce a visible, approachable, and professional security presence across sites
  • Support consistent global messaging that balances safety with a positive employee experience
Program and Project Oversight
  • Provide executive oversight for all global security projects through the Security Project Management Coordinator
  • Ensure projects are well scoped, prioritized, tracked, and delivered
  • Use collaboration and project management tools such as Microsoft Teams, Smartsheet, and similar platforms
