Director of Security Operations Summary:


The Director of Security Operations is responsible for protection and the safety of employees, client locations, and the assets of an organization. The majority of our clients provide site policies and procedures which have been implemented for an extended period of time – the Director of Security Operations is responsible for reviewing and making recommendations on operational changes identified within the specific regional footprint and is responsible for running the day to day operations of a geographic territory including but not limited to: scheduling, client relations, site visits, training, development, payroll, recruiting, human resources. The Director of Security Operations ensures their staff are fully trained and provided the necessary tools to complete their assignment missions. The Director of Security Operations will engage the staff for both corrective and positive operational matters.


Director of Security Operations Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of Security Operations experience
  • Ability to manage a team of security officers
  • Able & willing to travel throughout market
  • Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process and continuously meet any applicable state, county and municipal requirements.


Director of Security Operations Pay & Benefits:

Director of Security Operations Responsibilities:


  • Manage the daily security operations of the region
  • Recruit, orient, and train security personnel on appropriate security rules and procedures
  • Managing and maintaining key KPI’s to ensure they are in line with company standards (overtime, open posts, etc.)
  • Develop and implement loss prevention policies, protocols and procedures for the operations
  • Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses and payroll discrepancies
  • Attend meetings with other client managers to determine operational loss prevention needs
  • Plan and coordinate security and loss prevention operations for specific events, details or operational changes
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and security industry regulations.
  • Review reports on loss prevention incidents and site breaches
  • Investigate and resolve issues with security officers and client associates
  • Create reports for management on security – loss prevention status –
  • Weekly KPIs and Site Reviews.
  • Analyze data to form proposals for improvements (e.g. implementation of new technology) Conduct security and loss prevention infrastructure audits and testing.
  • Submit reports on all audits and testing to clients for action with follow ups
  • Train all supervisors with Kronos and other programs as needed.
