Responsibilities

What You'll Do:

  • The Senior Security Manager, Industrial Security Operations, serves as the Senior Facility Security Officer for V2X, Inc., responsible for overseeing and implementing all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and related industrial security programs across the company. In this capacity, the position directly supervises Facility Security Officers (FSOs) and Assistant Facility Security Officers (AFSOs) across all V2X locations, providing leadership, guidance, and oversight to ensure consistent and compliant security operations.
  • The Senior Security Manager manages DCSA interfaces, including preparation and maintenance of DD 254s, SF-328s and related forms; mandatory security reporting through DISS and NISS; and coordination with other Cognizant Security Agencies (CSAs) as applicable. The position drives enterprise security awareness programs and reporting for the V2X Insider Threat Program (ITP); ensures NISP compliance across collateral and special access program (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) environments; oversees facility clearance and CAGE code management; and, administers related operational and program security arrangements.
  • The Senior Security Manager advises senior leadership on industrial security policy, risk posture, and regulatory compliance, and serves as the primary point of contact with government counterparts — including DCSA — on inspections, security violations, and program matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the Senior Facility Security Officer (FSO) for V2X; provides enterprise-wide leadership, direction, and oversight for all NISP-related industrial security operations, policies, and programs.
  • Supervises FSOs and AFSOs across all V2X locations; provides mentorship, performance guidance, and technical oversight to ensure standardized and compliant security operations company-wide.
  • Manages DCSA interfaces, including preparation and maintenance of DD Form 254s, SF-328s, DISS and NISS personnel security reporting, coordination with Cognizant Security Agencies (CSAs), and response to security inspections, violations, and anomalous events.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains the enterprise security awareness training program and reporting for the V2X Insider Threat Program (ITP) in compliance with DCSA requirements and applicable DoD directives.
  • Oversees facility clearance and CAGE code management for V2X and all subsidiary/subordinate facilities; maintains the Facility Clearance (FCL) in good standing.
  • Administers operational and program security arrangements for collateral, SAP and SCI environments, including physical security, personnel security, and administrative security systems.
  • Conducts and coordinates security self-inspections; investigates losses and security violations; recommends and tracks corrective actions to closure.
  • Advises senior leadership on industrial security policy, regulatory compliance, and risk posture; represents V2X in interactions with DCSA, customer security representatives, and other government agencies.
  • Occasional travel to V2X domestic and OCONUS locations may be required to support security inspections, staff oversight, or program support.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field required. Master’s degree strongly preferred. A minimum of ten years’ progressive experience in industrial security or a directly related DoD contracting environment is required, including at least seven years of direct experience as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) supporting classified DoD programs.
    • Completion of DCSA FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities (CDSE) is required. Industrial Security Professional (ISP®) certification through NCMS, or equivalent DCSA-recognized senior FSO certification, is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 10 years of industrial security experience with at least seven years serving as an FSO for a cleared DoD contractor; prior experience as a Senior FSO, Corporate FSO, or SFSO for a large (1,000+ employee) multi-facility contractor strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated experience managing all DCSA interfaces for a multi-site contractor: DD Form 254 preparation and administration, DISS and NISS reporting, facility clearance (FCL) and CAGE code management, and coordination with Cognizant Security Agencies (CSAs).
    • Expert-level knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), applicable DoD manuals (DoD 5205.07 SAP Policy), DCIDs/ICDs, and DCSA assessment and inspection frameworks; demonstrated ability to interpret and apply policy with independent judgment.
    • Proven experience developing, implementing, and managing a compliant Insider Threat Program (ITP) and enterprise security awareness training curriculum in accordance with DCSA requirements and applicable Executive Orders.
    • Experience supervising or providing oversight to a team of FSOs and/or AFSOs across geographically dispersed locations, including OCONUS or contingency environments, is highly desirable.
    • Proficiency in DISS, NISS, and e-QIP/eApp for personnel security processing; working knowledge of SIMS or comparable security management platforms. Prior JPAS experience is applicable.
    • Experience supporting or administering collateral and/or Special Access Program (SAP) security requirements, including SAP facility (SAPF) accreditation and program security officer (PSO/CPSO) functions, is a plus.
  • Other Requirement:
    • United States citizenship is required.
    • This position requires a current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility. The incumbent will be designated a Key Management Personnel (KMP) position under DCSA requirements.
  • Skills:
    • Proven strategic leadership and people management skills; demonstrated ability to set direction, mentor subordinate security professionals, and drive compliance across a large, geographically dispersed organization.
    • Strong analytical and risk management skills; ability to assess security vulnerabilities, develop mitigation strategies, and present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and government counterparts.
    • Superior technical writing skills; experienced in developing security policies, standard operating procedures, program protection plans, and executive-level briefings.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to represent V2X effectively with DCSA, customer security representatives, senior government officials, and internal executive leadership.
    • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and enterprise-level workloads with minimal supervision.
