As a SOC (Security Operations Center) Operator, you will monitor security systems, surveillance cameras, and alarm activity to help maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients. This position requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to respond quickly and professionally to security events.
Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Monitor live and recorded surveillance camera systems
  • Investigate and respond to alarm activity and system alerts
  • Utilize Lenel access control and security management software
  • Dispatch appropriate personnel or emergency services as needed
  • Document incidents accurately and thoroughly in reporting systems
  • Communicate professionally with clients, site personnel, and management
  • Follow DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions
  • Maintain situational awareness in a fast-paced operations center environment
  • Participate in required training and comply with DSI safety procedures and manuals

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior security, dispatch, monitoring, or control room experience preferred
  • Experience with Lenel or similar access control systems preferred
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to multitask and remain focused for extended periods
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable transportation and means of communication
  • Must meet all preemployment requirements
