Job description

Job Requirements
The Security Account Manager is a full-time position and will oversee and manage the daily operations at our security client location in Denver, CO. Security Account Manager will work closely with the client to identify their needs and develop strategies to ensure that the team is providing quality, cost-effective services.
*This is an fully onsite position Monday - Friday (be reachable on weekend in case of emergency)*
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • The management, direction, and oversight of the security shift supervisors and security officers regarding their performance and operations.
  • Supervising, training, and evaluating of the security personnel's work performance and making recommendations/changes where applicable.
  • Ensuring that post orders and related site information is being properly maintained, updated, and communicated to all respective parties.
  • Conducting on-the-job training of security shift supervisors which includes, but is not limited to, post order implementations and refreshers, routine responsibility changes, emergency situation responses and specific client needs where applicable.
  • In addition, the candidate will at times be responsible for communicating information and receiving various requests from our client.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the client.
  • Liaison with all client departments.
  • Develop and maintain required policies and procedures for site.
  • Manage and deliver Security Officer training.
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing and training requirements for the Silverseal Staff.
  • Manage and correct performance issues with Security Officers.
  • Complete, review and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required by the Company and the Client.
  • Manage staffing rosters, shift coverage, badge access control items, etc.
  • Weekly validation of Time & Attendance records to ensure accuracy of data.
  • Performance and compliance against the Client Service Agreement and Company standards.
  • Ensure an effective safety management system.
  • Fully conversant with the development of Emergency Procedures and any temporary instructions.
  • Act as a point of contact for reporting any client's systems fault (such as fire alarm, security systems), property damage in accordance with the agreed reporting procedure.
  • Wherever applicable, introduce measurement and performance indicators (KPI) to ensure that standards are constantly maintained / improved.
  • Carry out audits of the security operation as instructed by the client.
  • Complete risk assessments and offer recommendations.
  • Conduct investigations and prepare reports relating to internal investigations of any losses or violations of regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist in emergency management and contingency planning preparations.
  • Have an active role with the development of client's business continuity plan.
  • Control Room management - To ensure the technical equipment is operating to the full expectation (CCTV audits, Access Control audits, data protection).
  • Reachable 24 hours a day / 7 days a week to respond to security-related emergency situations.

Work Experience
  • Valid Denver Colorado security guard license
  • A minimum of five (5) year work history in a security supervisory role
  • Provide friendly and exceptional customer service for the business.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to write accurate and concise reports for team members and supervisors.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations and make sound judgement calmly and effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Tech Savvy
  • Experience in scheduling, security operations, and other functions of the security industry are a plus.
  • Associate's Degree, or its equivalent, or related prior experience in the corporate security industry and/or military is preferred.
