As a Security Officer Operation Center SOC in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch professional at a premier commercial real estate location, where you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, and support timely responses to security-related concerns. In this fast-paced role, you will help maintain order, assist tenants and visitors with professionalism, and bring our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every interaction.

What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, dispatch protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor phones, radios, alarms, cameras, and/or other communication systems to receive calls for service and relay information to mobile personnel and property contacts in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Document incidents, maintenance concerns, access issues, and/or other security-related activity in reports and dispatch logs with clear and timely updates.
  • Coordinate responses to incidents, critical situations, and/or after-hours concerns across the location while helping to support continuity of operations.
  • Assist with access-related inquiries, visitor directions, and general information requests while following post orders and property policies.

Minimum Requirements:
  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
