2nd Shift Guard Shack Specialist II

We are looking for a Guard Shack to join our team! NX Automotive Logistics USA, Inc. is committed to providing our market with high quality innovative supply chain solutions, in an environmentally and socially sustainable manner. Company Description: NX Automotive Logistics USA, Inc. Operations Departments operate in a warehouse, or a manufacturing environment and associates are subject to moderate amounts of dust, dirt, and odors, primarily produced by packaging materials and the operation of propane-powered forklifts as well as noise primarily produced by production equipment. Temperatures during the year will vary. Frequently operate a computer, read, write and interact with others in person, over the phone and via other devices. They move about within the facility and may travel to other locations.

Highlights/Responsibilities of the Position:
  • Demonstrate a safety-first attitude following all company safety policies.
  • Participate in positive team moral.
  • Exhibit the ability to read, understand and follow all standard operating procedures defined for the Guard Shack Specialist I.
  • Manage all aspects of GPCS and C. Core as it relates to arriving trailers all YMS functions.
  • Attend C-TPAT training and exhibit the ability to perform C-TPAT compliance 100% of the time.
  • Perform well under pressure and provide a sense of stability to the workforce.
  • Have knowledge and understanding of all NXAL company policies and procedures and always follow.
  • Have strong computer skills, respond to emails, and communicate in a timely manner.
  • Exhibit the ability to learn new software applications.
  • Complete company and department reports on time, including but not limited to department specific operational reports, incident reports, documentation for computer systems, and equipment use.
  • Report any suggestions for improvements if you see the ability to improve quality/safety within the job.
  • Report all problems or concerns immediately to leadership.
  • Follow 5s standards and keep a clean and safe working environment in specified area/department.
  • Maintains a professional demeanor to be an effective representative of NXAL with our customers, visitors, and associates.
  • Daily overtime may be required, frequently with little or no advance notice, to meet daily production requirements.
  • When necessary, this position may be required to perform other functions as required to meet our customer needs/demands.
Qualifications:
  • Possess knowledge of warehousing and transportation functions.
  • Possess traits of reliability and dependability.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both written and orally.
  • Intermediate computer skills, familiar with Microsoft 365.
  • Flexible to perform additional job functions.
  • Work additional hours, if necessary, to complete daily tasks and meet customer/business needs and demands.
