Look no further because we are currently seeking a Part-Time Base Operator Security Officer to join our growing USI team in Altoona/Des Moines, IA!
Saturday and Sunday 11am-7pm
Potential to pick up additional hours
Responsibilities include:
  • Provide customer service and information to tenant employees and guests.
  • Provide a safe and secure environment for employees and guests.
  • Provide for the security of the client's property.
  • Enforce the safety and security policies and rules of the client.
  • Vehicle patrol to provide safeguarding for the parking lots and exterior of the premises.

You will be trained on USI's policies and procedures, including how to respond to various incidents and emergencies.
Skills:
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Hospitality/retail experience a plus
  • Computer skills
  • Some Microsoft Office experience a plus
  • Must have attention to detail
  • Must have a professional demeanor
  • Ability to walk continuously for 30 minutes at a time
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Must be punctual, reliable, and self-motivated
  • Must maintain a high degree of honesty, integrity, and work ethic

Requirements:
  • Must be at least 19 years old
  • 1 year customer service experience
  • 1 year security experience
  • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
  • Valid Iowa Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Must successfully pass a State of Iowa background check to obtain a State of Iowa Security Officer License
  • Candidates must also be able to successfully pass ALL pre-employment screenings
