Position Summary... What you'll do...

Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a specialized type of pharmacy that focuses on processing and dispensing of prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations within a region.  Unlike a traditional pharmacy, Central Fill is full of automation allowing prescriptions to be filled fast and accurately, but the best part of Central Fill pharmacy is taking care of our patients in the community. While we are not patient facing, our job provides retail pharmacies the ability to spend much deserved time providing clinical services and education to the communities they serve.
We’re looking for Supervisor, Security to support operations at our new Central Fill Pharmacy in Springfield, MO.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in Law Enforcement (LEO), Security, or Military
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience

Salary: $26.80 per hour, plus an additional $1.00 per hour shift differential for hours worked on the night shift.

Schedule: Temporary Day Shift, Transition to Evening upon go live. More information will be provided in interview.

By implementing security protocols and addressing compliance issues, the supervisor promotes operational excellence and risk mitigation. This position requires a commitment to integrity, effective communication, and continuous improvement to support the safety and security objectives of the organization.
 

About the team:
The Physical Security team leads the development and execution of security strategies to protect retail pharmacy and optical operations. They ensure the safety of associates and customers by maintaining robust security processes that support seamless business functions and regulatory compliance. This team manages Health & Wellness security operations to reduce risks and uphold business continuity. Working closely with Threat Management, they respond effectively to incidents and emergencies. Their dedication to safety, compliance, and ongoing improvement creates a secure environment aligned with Walmart’s standards and operational objectives.
 

What you'll do:

  • Supervise associates by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, and providing feedback and coaching.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, orientation, and training of new and existing associates.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners to promote a safe working environment and provide tactical emergency responses.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate policies, addressing violations and implementing corrective actions.
  • Assist in developing and improving safety and security protocols, programs, and training.
  • Respond to security incidents, conduct investigations, and assess threat levels.
  • Model integrity and uphold company policies while fostering a positive team environment.
