Job Description and Requirements

Role Responsibilities

What are the core duties of this role?

  • Design, build, andoperateinternal IAM and cloud security services used across the organization

  • Writeproductionqualitysoftware using modern engineering best practices

  • Automate security controls to reduce operational burden and technical debt

  • Partner with engineering teams to embedsecurebydefaultpatterns into their workflows

  • Participate in on-call support, incident response,rootcauseanalysis, and reliability improvements

  • Mentor engineers and advocate for pragmatic security improvement

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of commercial experience in software development (C#, Python,Javaor other general-purpose modern programming language) with a solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.

  • Experience with cloud technologies (preferably Azure),DevSecOpspractices, and automation tools (e.g., GitHub Actions).

  • Growth mindset and eagerness to learn across engineering and security domains.

  • Ability to take feedback and strive for continual improvement.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience securing cloud-native applications / SaaS solutions and networks.

  • Familiarity with vulnerability scanning and threat protection.

  • Relevant certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500).

  • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300).

  • UnderstandingZero Trust security principles and their practical application.

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.

The expected salary range for this role is between following values:

$104000 and $156000

The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
