As a Security Officer Armed Security Driver in Brownsville, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. This driving position combines customer service, clear communication, and sound judgment while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, observe activity within assigned areas, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain required documentation, including patrol activity, incident reports, and daily logs, while adhering to applicable laws, company policies, and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
