Provides a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff.  Responds to all incidents occurring on hospital campus; conducts patrols on foot and in vehicles; responds to emergencies; provides Public Safety services to patients, visitors, and staff; enforces medical center rules and regulations; identify and report safety hazards and conditions; prepare incident reports and related written communications.
Requires high school diploma and a minimum of one year of security related experience OR completion of a Criminal Justice program at an accredited school; current and valid Mass. drivers license; excellent driving record; Must have, or be able to obtain, CPR/AED certification within 90 days of hire; flexibility to work various shift, weekends, and holidays; Defensive tactics, Reserve Intermittent Police Academy training, and CPR certification desired
