Vehicle Security Patrol Officer

Elite Security & Staffing Company | San Diego County, CA

Starting Pay: $20.50/hour

Position Overview

As a Vehicle Security Patrol Officer, you will patrol multiple client locations including:

  • Municipal airports
  • Shopping centers
  • Commercial properties
  • Parking facilities
  • Public and private venues throughout San Diego County

This position primarily covers graveyard and overnight shifts, with occasional daytime opportunities available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct vehicle, foot, and standing patrols to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Observe, report, and document suspicious activity or security concerns.
  • Respond professionally to incidents, emergencies, and client requests.
  • Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while interacting with clients, tenants, visitors, and the public.
  • Enforce property rules and company policies with professionalism and integrity.
Qualifications

We're looking for motivated professionals who possess:

  • Current California Guard Card (required).
  • Minimum age of 25 years.
  • At least 5 years of licensed driving experience.
  • Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to provide an updated DMV driving record every 3 months.
  • 3–5 years of professional security experience.
  • Experience operating company patrol vehicles.
  • Strong communication, observation, and decision-making skills.
  • Professional appearance and reliable work ethic.
  • Experience using TrackTik for reporting.
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
Schedule
  • Primarily graveyard and overnight shifts
  • Typical hours between 8:00 pm - 4:00 am. This is a set time schedule.
  • Must be available to work Wednesday - Saturday. These are set days.
